Judy and I set off on a ten day (maybe more) road trip. This morning we left Minnesota in a cold, clammy, dark fog. The temperature was 31° when we left and it didn’t change for the first two hundred miles. Then the sun came and the temperature rose – a beautiful day to be on the road. It warmed up to 64° by the time we reached Kansas City.
Today was just a driving day – no special activities. We drove through the southern part of Minnesota, all the way through Iowa, angled across the northwest corner of Missouri and stopped ten miles west of Kansas City, Kansas. Whew! Now it’s time for a beer.
