Great coffee, restaurant and music

I just stopped in at The Nicollet for lunch today and met Jeremy Konency.  Jeremy grew up with our boys and spent many hours at our house. It was great to see him in his new business. The place is great – kind of an artsy looking spot with people sipping coffee and working on notebook computers. A rather large stage in the corner is used nearly every night for some form of entertainment.   They have jazz night, classical performances, folk music, open mike night, generally something for everyone.

The kitchen has a limited but very nice menu. I had the Thai shrimp pizza. It was amazingly good. Prices are good too. Right now he doesn’t have a wine or liquor license but I think that is coming soon.  I highly recommend it!
