Politicians and Puberty

While I have never held politicians in high regard, it seems that they have lately sunk to new lows. The state of Minnesota shut down for weeks because childish politicians refused to work together for the good of the people who elected them. Now it looks like the federal government may see a similar action. It seems the legislators, governors and the president are like middle school students trying to prove to the world how important they are.
Then we have the Wiener and Wu incidents of our “leaders” sexting kids with pictures of themselves. I don’t know what they can do to make themselves look more foolish.
Unfortunately we are not alone with this. Even the head of the IMF has shown that he can be as childish as the anyone.
I hope that we have someone running in the next election that acts like they are more than twelve years old.

I love this!!! I have to wonder why they go into professions that are suppose to be ‘for the people’ then they just end up being narcissists in need of adulation.

With politicians, I fear that anyone who wants the position is, by definition, not qualified.

chanel 5 news (Diane Sawyer) had someone say the same thing, become adults, grow up.

Oh so true! And why-oh-why do they have to take us right down to the wire with these foolish games? It’s hard to know who to believe anymore. Anyway, great post!
